Call For Papers

The College of Economic and Management Sciences of the University of South Africa invites research papers from academics and the business community for its 8th International Conference on Financial Services.

The conference will explore the recent innovations in technology and their impact on the provision of inclusive financial services. This is in recognition of the fact that technological advances have revolutionized the adoption and use of financial services globally.

FinTech, which includes the automation of the financial services sector in the traditional banking sense, has expanded to include the development and use of cryptocurrencies.

This has led to both greater opportunities and threats for financial services’ providers and their clients.

Papers should address any of the following sub-themes in the various fields of
finance, financial services, economics, technology, marketing, and business
management that are either directly or indirectly related to the main theme. However, even research papers remotely related to the main theme will be considered.

SUB-THEMES

  1. The future of banking
  2. Life and non–life insurance
  3. Fintech
  4. Finance for environmental and sustainable development
  5. Sustainable Ocean Financing
