This is an international conference that focuses on the intersection of FinTech, AI, Sustainability, and financial inclusion. The conference will commence with a keynote address by the Governor of the South
African Reserve Bank, Mr. Lesetja Kganyago . This will be followed by presentations
and discussions by academics and key industry specialists at the main conference
on the 3rd of October.

advancement of financial knowledge and practice collectively.
We warmly extend an invitation to you to submit your research papers for review and potential presentation at the prestigious 9th International Conference on Financial Services scheduled to be held from October 2nd to October 3rd, 2024, at Emperors Palace Hotel situated in the captivating city of Johannesburg, South Africa. This conference is dedicated to fostering the vibrant exchange of innovative ideas in the realms of research, education, and managerial best practices. The conference brings together experts, scholars, and practitioners in the financial services sector to discuss and share insights on key industry trends and challenges.
Submission deadline is July 1st, 2024.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance decision by July 15th, 2024.
Papers should address any of the following sub-themes in the various fields of
finance, financial services, economics, technology, marketing, and business
management that are either directly or indirectly related to the main theme. However, even research papers remotely related to the main theme will be considered.
Conference attendance and participation are open to all interested parties from academia and the financial services industry, irrespective of whether one is presenting a paper or not.
PhD students are cordially invited to our 3rd PhD Symposium, a significant occasion designed to support and inspire our PhD candidates.
During this event, doctoral students will have the chance to showcase their proposals or chapters in front of esteemed industry and academic professionals.
These experts will offer valuable feedback aimed at fostering a robust research ethos among our PhD community. We eagerly anticipate engaging in enriching discussions throughout the Symposium.
The Symposium will center on the themes of the conference and the following themes:
Submissions of abstracts should be done on the website where indicated.
The submitted abstracts should adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Abstracts should preferably not exceed 500 words.
2. Abstracts should reflect the research problem, purpose, objectives, methodology, findings and conclusion.
3. Abstracts must be submitted online in electronic format as a separate file attachment in MS Word or RTF format.
4. The language of the conference will be English.
5. The Conference will follow a policy of blind peer review.
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION TO THE CONFERENCE
Any cancellation received by the ICFS Administrators will be subject to the following
refund policy:
75% of the amount paid if written cancellation is received by 30 August 2024.
50% of the amount paid if written cancellation is received by 15 September 2024.
No refund if written cancellation is received after 30 September 2024.
ON-SITE REGISTRATION (AT THE CONFERENCE VENUE)
While it will be possible to register on-site, we strongly recommend that participants
and their accompanying persons take advantage of the convenience and the saving
by registering in advance. Please note that registrations after 01 October 2024 will
be considered, subject to availability and immediate payment. No provision for
special meals will be made for on-site registration.
